About the Artwork - "Letting go" is a part of a series of works with origami birds as subject. These birds are symbolic of a personal and universal human desire to be in control and a constant strive for perfection. In this work I wish to convey a sense of freedom, which the act of surrendering and “letting go” can bring. /San-Maré Raubenheimer. | About the Artist - San-Maré Raubenheimer is a fine artist originally from South Africa, now living in Sweden. She strives to capture intimate moments of human existence; those moments when a person is most vulnerable. Abstract figurative compositions often provide only a partial view of the subject matter and thus creating opportunity for interpretation and storytelling by the viewer. She finds inspiration in the symbolism and visual qualities of vintage and found objects, texture and pattern of fabrics and the complexity of the human form and nature. Being motivated by a culmination of memories, emotions, experiences and perceptions, she wishes to create emotive works of art that resonate and lingers with its viewers. | Copyright - Collectors receive a cryptographic token representing the Creator's Digital Artwork ownership that can be bought and sold as a piece of property, however, collectors do not have legal ownership, right, or title to any copyrights, and other intellectual property rights to the Digital Artwork. © San-Maré Raubenheimer | Digital Image: High resolution.
